Fleurieu & Districts under 12 mixed cricket team has claimed the state country championship.
In round one, Fleurieu & Districts had a big win over the South East U12 boys.
F&D won the toss and elected to bat.
Opening batter Aarav Gupta retired not out on 53 runs off 51 balls, and Brodie Woods hit the second-most runs on 42 not out off 38 balls.
Off the 30 overs, F&D finished on 5/229.
F&D was tight in the field, keeping South East to 7/118 off its 30 overs.
After his great effort with the bat, Woods took two wickets for four runs off his three overs, while Nate Cavanagh had an economy of 1.00 with his one wicket for six runs off six overs, which included one maiden.
In round two, Fleurieu & Districts beat Barossa & Light with more than three overs to spare.
F&D lost the toss and went in to bowl, and held B&L to 6/139 off its 30 overs.
Woods took another two wickets for 14 runs off three overs, and Ethan Keogh took two catches as wicket keeper.
Gupta had another big game with bat, again retiring not out on 59 off 45 balls, and fellow opener Tyson Averats hit 29 off 40 balls before being caught out.
F&D overtook B&L in the 27th over, finishing with 4/140 to take the win.
In round three, Fleurieu and Districts lost the toss to Murray Districts/Barrier and bowled first again.
In 26 overs, F&D had MDB all out for 57 runs.
Caleb Eichler took four wickets for 10 runs off his 4.2 overs, and Woods took two wickets for 13 runs off his four overs, while Gupta and Bennett Carter both had economies of 0.66.
Tyson Averats, Keogh, Gupta, and Carter all took a catch each.
In the 13th over, F&D reached the required total with 2/58.
Keogh top scored with 19 not out off 33 balls, followed by Ben Whittaker with 15 off 29 balls.
Fleurieu and Districts finished top of the ladder, making it through to the grand final against Eyre Peninsula.
F&D won the toss and elected to bat, and after 30 overs they finished on 5/156.
Every batter contributed to the total, and Carter top scored with 31 off 19 balls and Archie Frost hit 29 off 32 balls.
The EP batters put up a great fight, but all F&D players contributed in the field and had EP all out in the 28th over for 10/149.
Eichler took the most wickets with three for 30 runs off six overs, and Nate Kavanagh took two wickets for 25 runs off six overs.
Averats took two catches and Eichler and Woods took one each, and Frost and Victor Lang combined for a run out.
